The Czech Republic has a preparatory committee which is led by the Ministry of the Environment, and it includes members from the Ministries of Industry, Social Affairs, Finance, Agriculture, Foreign Affairs and civil society.

The Czech Republic established a sustainable development strategy in 2005, and it is regularly updated with the most recent update being in 2011.
What is your vision for success at Rio+20?
The Czech Republic feels that emerging issues such as food security, coastal management, and energy should be addressed.
